BCSD Teachers Recognized by Local TV Stations
Recently two of our teachers received
awards from local television stations. Juliana Barron received the
'Teacher of the Month' award presented by My45 and Univision 39; and
Melissa Diedrich received the 'One Classroom At A Time' award from

Thorner & Downtown Celebrate Distinguished School Award
Both Dr. Juliet Thorner Elementary School and Downtown
Elementary School celebrated their being named a 2008 California

Lifetime Perfect Attendance
At the end of the 2007-2008
school year, 5 BCSD students achieved Lifetime Perfect Attendance.
What this means is that they had perfect attendance from Kindergarten
through 8th grade; 9 years which translates to 1,620 days of school.To find out who these students are, click here.
